Bidding Steps

How to bid on properties you're interested in?

The procedure to bid on real estate auction properties using BIDHIT requires only the following 3 steps.

STEP01

Apply to BIDHIT representative for proxy bidding and notify the desired amount

STEP02

Send the original copy of your resident certificate to BIDHIT

STEP03

Transfer the bid amount to BIDHIT's designated account and notify the desired amount

Schedule

What is the schedule to acquire the property?

The process to acquire auction properties through BIDHIT is as follows.

Auction property is announced by the court

Within approximately 2 weeks

If you find a desired property, bid on the property through BIDHIT

Approximately 2 weeks later

03

BIDHIT notifies customers of the purchase approval/denial results from the court

Within approximately 1 week

04

Notify the court of purchase intention through BIDHIT

Approximately 1 month later

Costs

What money is required?

The costs required to acquire the property consist roughly of the following 4 items.

  • Bid amount
  • Property purchase procedure costs (real estate related taxes, owner registration fees, etc.)
  • Various costs after property acquisition (renovation costs, repayment of inherited debts, etc.)
  • Fees paid to BIDHIT (3% of bid price, minimum fee 200,000 yen)
